OUR PEOPLE

Meet the team behind
the foundation

Who we are

As the backbone of The Jared Dunscombe Foundation, our people help drive our mission forwards and ensure our impact is felt far and wide.

After losing her brother Jared, Jonelle had a strong desire to continue Jared’s legacy of helping others.

Turning the unbelievable tragedy into a strong purpose, Jonelle’s focus on helping community and vulnerable young people has allowed the foundation and its incredible team to grow and fund many valuable projects.

In addition to her corporate career, Jonelle also holds the role of Project Manager for a group who provide road trauma presentations to Year 12 students within Victoria.

Jonelle is kept very busy as a Mum to four beautiful children and loves being active, outdoors in nature and spending time with friends and her husband Adam.

Adam has been a successful Commercial Lawyer for the past 18 years. He is currently involved in an education startup as well as managing all of the legal and property development arm of his family business.

After losing Jared, Adam instigated the idea of creating a foundation to honour Jared’s legacy and is now the Chairman of Jared Dunscombe Foundation.

Adam is Dad to four kids and in his spare time enjoys playing an active role in their sporting activities. He is also a keen Formula One and Essendon Bombers fan.

Both long-standing members of the Rotary Club of Cranbourne, Kathy and John have both held roles of President and led various committees over the years and been very active members on many large and small voluntary projects.

After losing their son Jared, they have both continued with their community work, including trips to Tonga to assist in building a water system for the Hango Agricultural College in Eua which allowed the college to grow crops as well as providing clean water to
the local village.

They are both very proud that the Jared Dunscombe Foundation allows others to remember their son and his contribution to others, as well as helping many young people around the world for years to come.

Following the devastating loss of lifelong family friend Jared, Bianca became a founding member of the Jared Dunscombe Foundation. Driven by a desire to honour Jared’s incredible life and continue his legacy of helping young people, Bianca worked with the Dunscombe family to create the foundation in 2014.

Bianca has extensive experience across the not-for-profit, construction and property sectors and holds a degree in Media and Communications. Drawing on her experience in contract administration, stakeholder relationships, and project delivery, Bianca supports the growth of the foundation, ensuring everything is handled with care and due diligence.

Outside of work, spending time with her husband and two young children as well as extended family and friends is Bianca’s number one priority. She also enjoys keeping fit with Pilates and walking her dog Wilbur, a beautiful golden Labrador.
