About Feel the Magic
Feel the Magic is an Australian non-profit organization dedicated to providing grief education and support programs for children and teenagers aged 7 to 18 who are experiencing the death of a parent, guardian, or sibling. Founded with the mission to create a world where children who have lost loved ones feel supported, empowered, and understood, Feel the Magic offers evidence-based programs that promote healing and resilience.
Camp Magic: This flagship program is a three-day camp that brings together children and teenagers who have experienced similar losses. Through a series of therapeutic activities, peer support, and professional guidance, Camp Magic helps participants process their grief in a safe and nurturing environment. The camp aims to build coping skills, enhance emotional literacy, and provide a sense of community.
Recognizing the need for accessible support, Feel the Magic offers online programs that include virtual camps and workshops. These programs ensure that children across Australia, regardless of their location, can access the support they need. The online sessions are designed to be interactive and engaging, providing tools and strategies to navigate grief.
These one-day events are designed to support the whole family. Family Day Camps provide an opportunity for families to come together, share their experiences, and learn how to support each other through the grieving process. Activities are tailored to different age groups, ensuring that everyone from young children to adults can benefit.
Feel the Magic also focuses on community education, providing resources and training to schools, healthcare professionals, and community organizations. This initiative aims to increase awareness about childhood grief and equip communities with the knowledge and skills to support grieving children.
