Spanning 96 kilometres across the breathtaking Owen Stanley Ranges in Papua New Guinea, the Kokoda track showcases a stunning landscape. Witness magnificent mountain ranges, diverse rainforests, pristine rivers, and encounter the rich tapestry of traditional cultures along this renowned path.
The Kokoda Trek is delivered by an experienced adventure travel team based in Torquay, Victoria, led by Peter Condon, a retired Victoria Police Sergeant with over 32 years of operational and emergency management experience and more than 50 Kokoda treks personally guided.
Delivered in partnership with The Jared Dunscombe Foundation, the program combines elite pre-trek physical preparation with proven expedition leadership. Trekkers benefit from industry-leading safety standards, structured training, and active supervision to ensure they arrive confident, capable, and well prepared, contributing to consistently high trek completion rates.
Every trek is led by current or former emergency services and defence personnel, bringing real-world operational experience to ensure participant safety and wellbeing throughout the journey.
